Applications are invited for the position of Warehouse Operative. This is an hourly paid role and will involve working shifts (currently 2-shifts) and additional hours where required. The role will be paid at Grade 1 rate of pay.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Inspection of loose wheels for both internal and external customers.
- Packaging and protection of both loose wheels and axles.
- Loading / unloading vehicle’s when required.
- Epicor scanning and bookings (training can be provided).
- Keeping any administration up to date.
Key Skills and Experience:
Current FLT and Overhead Crane licences are preferred.
Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage.
Attention to detail is essential.
Ability to communicate.
Able to work flexibly.
Reliable and punctual.
Qualifications:
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent would be an advantage.
