LUR attends the Women in Rail Awards 2025
LUR proudly marked a milestone in its commitment to diversity and inclusion by hosting a table for the first time at the prestigious annual Women in Rail Awards. The event took place on Thursday 15th May 2025, at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden, London.
A team of LUR’s female employees attended the event, reflecting the company’s ongoing commitment to recognising and empowering women in the rail industry. The evening, hosted by TV personality, Gail Porter, brought together over 800 industry professionals to honour the remarkable achievements of women who have made outstanding contributions to improving gender balance, diversity and inclusion within the rail sector.
Representing LUR were Rebecca Lewis, Karen Breen, Nicky Court, Lydia Court, Kelly Tong, Marcia Olivi, Laura Macfarlane, Libby Stecyk, Kerry McCarthy and Sarah Rodger. The team embraced the opportunity to connect with peers, gain insights into the industry, and was inspired by the achievements of women leading change in rail.
